The Dancing Dresses Story in Dancing with the Stars

Every year, it would be the great excitement to remind the coming of the dancing with the stars. We are curious about the that the stars will wear, the partners they will bring to us and who will be the winner in the end. But the story of the dress that behind the dancing costumes.

Behind The Scenes

On Dancing with the Stars putting together thedancing costumes is a very hectic task. After each elimination night each couple will get their music and dance assignments for the following week and rush in to see dancing costume designer Randall Christensen. They only have 15-20 minutes with him to discuss color and style. Christensen then has six days to design the dancing costumes. Each costume can only be worn once and cost between $3,000 and $5,000. Each costume is actually one piece of clothing. Everything is sewn together including stockings. Rhinestones are used for decorations and hand sewn into the costumes. By the time the show is over, 1½ million rhinestones will have been used.

But for us, if we want to get ourselves one piece of the dress, we could not and will never spend that amount of money for the dancing costumes. We need to find the most reasonable price dress–cheap formal dress from the local stores or the on lien stores.
